We have different variants within the 'Daycare' care package. Depending on your personal situation, you choose the package that suits you best. With the calculation tool you can easily calculate what your net monthly costs will be for each childcare package.

Day care from 2 days, for an average of €0.68 net per hour 
If you need at least 2 full days of care, you can use our most affordable package 'Day care from 2 days'. Your child is welcome to play 52 weeks a year, from 2 fixed days a week. A day for us lasts 11 hours; from 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
The gross hourly rate for this childcare package is €10.95.

Day care from 2 half days, for an average of €1.44 net per hour
At 'Daycare from 2 half days' your child is welcome to play 52 weeks a year, at least 2 half days per week. A half-day with us lasts 5.5 hours, care is available from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, from 1:00 PM to 6:30 PM and from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
The gross hourly rate of this package is € 11.72

Customized day care, for an average of €3.79 net per hour
Would you prefer the convenience of care that is fully tailored to your personal situation? Then 'Customized daycare' may be a good option. Your child is welcome to play 40 to 52 weeks a year, at least 2 fixed half-days a week. A half-day session lasts at least 4 hours, after which you can extend every half hour. Care is available between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM. If you occasionally purchase extra care on top of your regular care, you will pay this hourly rate for the extra care purchased for all packages.
The gross hourly rate for this package is €14.07.

Occasional extra care – €14.07 gross per hour
Do you need extra childcare during the standard opening hours? If there is room within your child's group, he or she can play extra. You pay a fixed rate of € 10.84 per hour for this.

Day care extended – €11.72 gross per half hour
The daycare is open as standard from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. If you need childcare outside standard opening hours, you pay a gross rate of €10.84 per half hour. For customers in Barendrecht, Bergen op Zoom and Hoeksche Waard, the rate stated in the reception contract applies.

Diapers – €0.17 per hour
Diapers are not included in our hourly rate. This way you only pay for diapers when your child really needs them. You can choose whether to bring them from home or whether you find it easier for us to take care of them. If you want us to take care of it, you pay a surcharge of € 0.14 per hour.

At 'Toddler Care' your toddler is welcome to play for 40 weeks a year, at least 2 half days a week. A half-day for toddler care lasts 4 hours. Toddler care is offered at designated locations according to the opening hours of the location.

Included as standard

To make it as easy as possible for you, some things are included as standard with all packages in our hourly rate:

  • Varied lunch, healthy snacks and drinks
  • Sleeping bag and sunscreen
  • Your toddler gets the best preparation for primary school with Toddler Start
  • You experience the day thanks to personal messages and photos via the parent portal
  • Collection and delivery is always possible between your contract hours, regardless of your package
  • Good to know; your child is in a group with peers

Childcare Allowance

If you and your partner both work or study, you are often eligible for childcare allowance. This is a contribution towards the costs of childcare. The amount of allowance you receive depends on your income, the number of hours you work and the number of children for whom you need childcare. The rates at Junia are gross rates, for which you will still receive childcare allowance. If we speak of net costs, then the childcare allowance has been deducted from this.

Check which additional reimbursements your municipality offers

At the day care, the toddlers learn from each other and are stimulated in their development by Toddler Start in a playful way. This way your toddler is well prepared for primary school and the transition to group 1 will soon be a lot less big. The government considers it very important that all toddlers have the opportunity to go to day care with peers. That is why the municipality often makes extra subsidies available to make day care affordable for all parents.

Which arrangement applies to you depends on a number of factors; do you receive childcare allowance or do you pay a monthly parental contribution? And in addition, does your child have a referral from youth healthcare or not? For example, because he or she has a language deficiency. Check which (extra) arrangements there are in your municipality!
